Design is about creating products that are good. But good doesn’t just mean useful and attractive anymore.

My goal is for customers to be empowered to repair–not replace.

I don’t use petroleum-derived finishes and materials, or finishes and materials that cannot be repaired easily & safely by the end user.

Listed below are the finishes you’ll find on my current products, in descending order of frequency:

Real Milk Paint Co. Wood Wax
[0% petroleum derived, no solvents]
I’m able to offer product for repairing this finish after wear.

Tried & True Wood Finish
[0% petroleum derived, no solvents]
I’m able to offer product for repairing this finish after wear.

Rubio Monocoat
[no VOC, no solvents, ingredients are not fully disclosed]
I’m able to offer product for repairing this finish after wear.

I only use locally sourced FSC-certified hardwood lumber. I do not use any non-domestic wood. Here are samples of the hardwoods I frequently use:

I also use aluminum for it’s high recyclability, and some other soft metals infrequently.
